American Airlines is a US national airline based in Texas, Fort Worth.


American Airlines with headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas are the world’s largest airline when measured by fleet size, revenue, scheduled passengers carried, scheduled passenger-kilometers flown, and number of destinations served. They are founding member of Oneworld alliance and cooperate for example with British Airways, FinAir, Iberia, Cathay Pacific or Japan Airlines. An extensive network allows them to realize around 6,800 flights per day to nearly 350 destinations in more than 50 countries.


On board, you can take one personal item like a noteboook or camera. Dimensions should not exceed 18 x 14 x 8 inches (45 x 35 x 20 cm ). Another one carry-on baggage shouldn’t exceed 22 x 14 x 9 inches / 56 x 36 x 23 centimeters.

Checked baggage is allow for international flights. Domestics or flights to Mexico and the Caribbean, can be charged $ 25 for each flight, then $ 60 for directions to Europe.

Depending on the animals’ breed, size and requirements, they can travel as a carry-on, be checked and you can travel with a pet on most flights not longer than 12 hours or flights to/from United States of America, Alaska, Canada and Central America.

Sport equipments like bikes, ski or golf bags and other shipped free of charge on long distance lines. Domestic flights are for a fee $ 25.


In large long-range aircraft, you can use the onboard entertainment system for free through individual seat screens. System offers a selection of the latest blockbusters, TV shows, or flight informations.

On long-range international flights is served free refreshments. All national flights and on routes to Canada or Karibik you will receive a refreshment only for a fee.

Upgraded, high-speed Wi-Fi is now available to buy on select domestic flights. Browse the internet, check emails and stream video services is available in larger aircrafts. Wi-Fi is available on almost all routes for as little as $10.
