Lufthansa is the largest Europa´s airlines. The company’s headquarter is in Frankfurt am Main in Germany. Lufthansa has several subsidiaries, such as Swiss Airlines or Austrian Airlines, as well as low-cost airlines Eurowings. And it is also the founder of Star Alliance’s, the largest alliance of airlines.


Lufthansa for is one of the largest airlines in the world, so it operates flights around the world such as Europe, Asia, the Caribbean and South America or Australia.

The fleet of airlines consists of different types of aircraft. From Boeing B737 to Airbus A320 for short and medium flights to the most advanced and largest Airbus A330 / 340, A350 or A380 and Boeing B777 and B747 for international flights.


Lufthansa offers for all flights in Europe or internationals two cabin luggage.  Carry-on luggage of size 43 x 33 x 16cm up to 8kg and 55 x 40 x 23 cm up to 23kg. Economy light class allows only carry-on luggage. Checked baggage you can also buy from 15 to 50€.

Animals must be booked no later than 24 hours before departure and the transport price starts at 50€

Sports equipment such a bikes or skis can be transported free of charge on long-distance flights. You must only registered this equipment at least 24 hours before departure.


On board. Lufthansa offers a free entertainment system during the flight. You can find many of the latest blockbusters, classics of film history, music and games movies, games where kids can have fun, or watch the flight informations on the dashboard.

Refreshment is a matter of course for Lufthansa. European flights include a small snacks. International flights include hot meals with the number per flight.
